Who is responsible

Numtide Sàrl, Chemin de la Cascade 3, 1217 Meyrin, Switzerland (CHE-434.659.601) is the controller for the personal data described here. Write to hello@numtide.com with any question about it.

This site sets no cookies

numtide.com stores nothing in your browser: no cookies, no local storage, no persistent identifier. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, run by Plausible Insights OÜ in Estonia, to count visits. Plausible is cookieless and processes the data on European infrastructure. Per its data policy it records the page address, the referring site or campaign, your browser, operating system and device type, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and engagement such as time on page. It does not store raw IP addresses or user-agent strings, and it builds no profile of you across sites or across days: the daily visitor hash uses a salt that is deleted every 24 hours.

We look at these figures in aggregate to understand which pages are worth keeping. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working website. You can block it with any content blocker and the site will work normally.

Hosting

The site is served from Europe by Fly.io, which processes your IP address in transient server logs in order to deliver the page to you. We do not use those logs for analysis.

Email

If you write to hello@numtide.com, your message and address reach us through Google Workspace and we keep them for as long as the conversation and our records require. There is no form on this site and no newsletter.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, and under the GDPR where it applies to you, you may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to our processing it. Ask at hello@numtide.com. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or to your own supervisory authority in the EEA.

In practice we hold very little: the analytics above identify nobody, so an access request will usually only concern email you have sent us.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The page is versioned in public with the rest of the site, so every edit is visible in its history.
